KHEER is prepared using small broken rice short grains or any regular rice. Avoid using basmati rice for KHEER. The texture of KHEER needs to be mushy and cooked well. These Gulabjamuns are prepared using Mawa. These are soft delicious and easy to prepare. The jams are prepared using Chenna and Mawa. Mixing up and preparing small balls out of it then deep frying these until turn dark brown or almost blackish in color. Then dipping these fried balls into an aromatic sugar syrup for hours so that they soak a good amount of syrup and thus become soft and delicious.

Gulab jamun is made with milk solids known as khoya/ mawa / kova. These soft, juicy, and delicious balls are a classic dessert from Indian cuisine. RAJBHOG is prepared using soft chenna followed by kneading and cooking the chenna balls into thin sugar syrup. At the center of these sweets, some crushed or broken dry nuts are filled as a center delight and this is the traditional way of making these. Into the sugar syrup, Kesar and rose water could be added as well to make it very flavorful and aromatic. Also while kneading the chenna balls the collie of the sweets changes to yellow and thus looks beautiful and gorgeous. This is a traditional Bengali sweet very commonly prepared during marriages special events and other festivals.

RASGULLA

These are sponge, dense, and pure chenna rasgullas. Cooked in sugar syrup and juicy. The kneading of the soft chenna is the key to making the perfect rasgullas. The chenna is kneaded for 5 to 7 minutes or until the chenna gets softer and smoother to touch. Then these are rolled into small balls and cooked for 10 minutes in sugar water or say thin syrup. While preparing the syrup powdered cardamom about a 1/2 teaspoon is added for flavor. These rasgullas are aromatic and simple to make and could be prepared during any festivals or accessions like marriages, other parties 🎉, etc.

Malai Chom Chom

The basic step is to prepare perfect sponge cylindrical shaped rasgullas. Then followed by making the amazing kesar doodh malai for these. Basically the kesar doodh malai is prepared using pure whole milk and by cooking it in low flame it is being reduced to rabri consistency. I.e thick creamy consistency and that is what poured on top of the Choms choms 🙂 or say it chum chum in Hindi. But in this recipe, the kesar rabri or the malai milk is prepared using milk powder which could be prepared quickly without using much time and very easy too. These sweets are super delicious, creamy, and rich.

MILKY COCONUT 🥥 SWEETS

Milky coconut sweets are soft sticky and creamy sweets that are very easy to prepare. These are prepared using desiccated coconuts 🥥 mixing up and cooking with sugar and milk. Very quick and easy recipe. Make it during any festival or special occasion without hesitation. These are too good.

SOOJI KA HALWA. KESAR HALWA. AROMATIC SEMOLINA SWEET OR DESSERT 🍮

Sooji Ka Halwa. Semolina dessert is aromatic and delicious made with kesar and doodh. ( saffron and milk). This recipe goes perfectly during fasting days especially. This goes great during festivals and other traditional occasions and ceremonies.

KALAKAND

Kalakand sweets are prepared by cooking grated paneer and milk together until they reach a thick consistency, In between desi ghee (clarified butter) and kesar is being is being added and by continuously stirring and cooking this amazingly delicious sweet is prepared.

JALEBI

Jalebi is prepared using Chickpea flour and mixed along with some water, sugar, and food coloring. Once a medium thick consistency batter is prepared these are then squeezed out into a hot oil using a cloth or a bottle in a circular motion and then deep fried until lightly golden brown and crisp. Then by transferring and dipping these crisp Jalebi’s into a thin light sugar syrup for a few seconds these are taken out and being cooled to be enjoyed. This is the sweet dessert that people and kids cherish a lot all over India and abroad. From Dhaba’s to the big restaurants Jalebi’s are very common to be found.

BESAN LADDU

Besan Laddu is a very common sweet/dessert that is prepared and enjoyed by the major population, especially during the times of Puja, traditional events, Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi, Diwali, etc. These are prepared using Chickpea flour, Ghee (clarified butter), and sugar as a common and main ingredient.
