Mango Kalakand easy recipe. Soft chewy and delicious. This is prepared by using milk, sugar, ripe mango pulp, cardamom and grated paneer. This is not only delicious but healthy too. The flavour of sweet mango pulp when mixed with grated paneer and cooked with milk and sugar it tastes heavenly. Looks beautiful when garnished with dry fruits and nuts.

Ingredients required to make Mango Kalakand an easy recipe. Soft chewy and delicious.

  • Ripe mango pulp 1 cup ( paste form )
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Grated paneer 1 cup
  • Milk full fat 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

Directions to prepare Mango Kalakand

  • Into a pan add ripe mango pulp (paste form) 1 cup
  • Sugar 3/4 cup. Heat and cook in low flame until the sugar dissolves completely. Continuously stir to avoid burning or sticking.
  • Add 1/2 cup of full cream milk and mix.

  • In between or at the end add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder into it and mix.
  • Cook the mixture by continuous stirring until it completely thickens.
  • Transfer the mixture immediately into a greased utensil or mold.
  • Spread it nicely. Put some almond flakes or any other dry nuts of your choice on top.
  • Allow to cool completely and refrigerate it for some time.
  • Cut into desired pieces and shape them up a little bit with the help of a spoon
  • Garnish with some more almond flakes. Looks beautiful when served and tastes delicious.
