Ground Turkey easy recipe. I always keep exploring different recipes for Turkey that are quick, easy, and healthy for a dinner-time meal or lunch. There are many ground Turkey recipes all over the internet with a few simple ingredients combined with veggies and all make a fulfilling platter in their own way. But since I am a bit more inclined towards Indian spices and their flavors I tried it out this way. What I did is I simply chopped white onions 2 big ones and 1 tablespoon of ginger and garlic paste. Sautéed these for a few minutes or until the rawness disappears completely but not browned. Well then added the ground Turkey into it and stir-fried it along with the onions.

Ingredients required to prepare Ground Turkey

  • Oil 2 tablespoon
  • Ground turkey 1 LB pack
  • Ginger and garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  • Onions 2 big size
  • Tomato 1 small
  • Cilantro chopped 1 tablespoon

Indian Spices

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Red Chili powder (for color) 2 taespoons
  • Green chili chopped 1
  • Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon

Total cook time

30 to 35 minutes

  • Get a packed organic turkey (good quality)
  • Into a sauce pan add some regular oil

Choose a good quality ground Turkey for the best results.

Cook Turkey with any combination of veggies like bell peppers, chopped broccoli, add any flavors or spices to it as per your taste and flavor. It’s that easy to prepare.

Cook thoroughly for attest 30 minutes or so until the Turkey meat has nicely browned and Not pink.

Seasoning the ground Turkey :

Season ground Turkey at the beginning of the recipe as soon these go into the saucepan with some salt, pepper, red chili powder, some cumin powder, coriander powder, and a bit of garam masala powder. It turns really aromatic once being sautéed with these spices for a while and then add the rest of the veggies that you like.
