Ground turkey easy recipe

Short summary to prepare ground turkey at home ~
Into a saucepan heat some oil. Add cumin seeds and let these splutter. Then immediately add chopped onions along with ginger and garlic paste and saute for a few minutes or until the rawness of the onions disappears and looks cooked.
Then add ground turkey and saute for a few minutes. Once the meat turns white add spices like salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and mix and continue to cook few minutes.
Next, add chopped tomatoes. Stir and cook sometimes along with the spices and tomatoes until the meat has browned and is not pink anymore.
Lastly, add chopped cilantro and mix before you serve.
Enjoy with tacos, wraps, the bread of choice, or steamed rice along with some sider dish
This recipe took me around 30 to 35 minutes to cook and it simply turned out amazing and aromatic.

  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
