Ingredients required to prepare Cabbage Pancake with Peppers.

  • Cabbage 🥬 4 to 5 cups. ( chopped or thinly sliced)
  • Green bell pepper 🫑 half of the medium sized bell pepper used. (Around 2/3 cup, thinly sliced or chopped)
  • Red bell pepper half of the medium sized bell pepper used. (Around 2/3 cup, thinly sliced or chopped)
  • Orange bell pepper half of the medium sized bell pepper used. (Around 2/3 cup, thinly sliced or chopped)
  • Jalapeño 1 medium (sliced)
  • Onion 🧅 1 medium (thinly sliced)
  • Black pepper 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili flakes 1/2 teaspoons
  • Salt 1 and 1/2 teaspoon or as per taste
  • 4 large eggs 🥚
  • All-purpose flour 1 cup
  • Ginger and garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon of oil
  • Water 5 tablespoons
  • 2 tablespoons of butter 🧈 for each pancake to shallow fry.

Slice or Chop some cabbage. 🥬 In cups it should be around 4 to 5 cups. Adding the flour and combining the ingredients ~

Next, add, All-purpose flour and mix, add ginger and garlic paste 1 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon of oil, with some water 💧 around 5 tablespoons and mix really well-using hands. Kind of mash and mix to combine all the ingredients well. Leave this mixture for 2 minutes.

Frying the Cabbage Pancakes ~

Heat a small to a medium pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter or oil. Pour a layer of batter all over the pan using a spatula. Spread it nice. Cook in low to medium flame 🔥 for at least 5 minutes or until you see it turns golden brown in color. When it looks well set and moves easily on pressing over it, you need to flip and turn it to the other side of the pancake 🥞. Cook the other side well. You may need to drizzle some oil or butter onto the sides to cook well or until it turns golden brown in color it’s done ✔️

Take it out serve and enjoy hot. You may enjoy these with some spicy sauce or sweet and sour chutney as well.
