Cabbage Pancake with Peppers

Slicing and Chopping the Vegetables ~
Slice or Chop some cabbage. 🥬 In cups it should be around 4 to 5 cups. Into it then add green, red, and orange bell peppers 🫑 thinly sliced or chopped around 2/3 cup each of the colorful peppers or you may use any one or multiple colors. Take one Jalapeño and slice it up and add to the mixture. Onion 🧅 1 medium sized thinly sliced around 2/3 cup used. Mix up all these ingredients together with hands.
Adding the Spices ~
Into it then add 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder, 1/2 a teaspoon of Red chili 🌶 flakes, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of salt or salt 🧂 as per taste.
Adding the Eggs ~
Then add 4 slightly beaten eggs into it and mix well to combine with the other ingredients.
Adding the flour and combining with the other ingredients ~
Next add, All-purpose flour and mix, add ginger and garlic paste 1 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon of oil, with some water 💧 around 5 tablespoons and mix really well using hands. Kind of mash and mix to combine all the ingredients well. Leave this mixture for 2 minutes before frying.
Frying the Cabbage Pancakes ~
Heat a small to medium pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter or oil. Pour a layer of batter all over the pan using a spatula. Spread it nice. Cook in low to medium flame 🔥 for at least 5 minutes or until you see it turns golden brown in color. When it looks well set and moves easily on pressing over it, you need to flip and turn it to the other side of the pancake 🥞. Cook the other side well. You may need to drizzle some oil or butter on to the sides to cook well or until it turns golden brown in color it’s done ✔️
Take it out serve and enjoy hot. You may enjoy these with some spicy sauce or sweet and sour chutney as well.

  • 5 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Butter for each pancakes
