But if are really excited about the paid traffic source for affiliate marketing like promoting ads on Facebook, Running paid campaigns, via Youtube, or say Google, you can definitely do so. But you can choose the free strategy first if you are not sure about what to do and how to do it.

The most important thing to know about affiliate marketing is that you need to have a lot of traffic. Blogs are the best way to generate a lot of organic traffic and have more conversion rates. It is still not too late to start a blog or a website in 2021.

Why do i need a blog?

Many people asks? Do I need to have a website to become an affiliate marketer? According to my research and knowledge, my short answer is yes well the long one is not really! The short answer is when you are applying for an affiliate business you have to add the affiliate link to your website.

You can embed the affiliate program links into your website or page to make it easy for the audience to click on that link and you get paid for it. It’s so much easier to do in the blog that you have created related to your Niche.

But the long answer does not necessarily have to have a website to work as an affiliate. But you need some custom URLs or some sort of a page where you can show companies that you wanted to join their affiliate program.

For example, when I will join some affiliate programs to some companies and I fill-up the form and I will show that my primary custom URL is this for example say you have a Facebook page GreatFoodIdeas/Facebook or say YouTube channel, where you are getting traffic from and will take them to that homepage of Facebook and they can see that it is getting a lot of traffic through this page and they are going to approve it. So basically to get approval from a few companies you need to have a lot of traffic and the better way to do that is to start a blog.

For paid programs to get traffic to the blog is like preparing facebook campaigns, boosting an Instagram post, or promoting google ads come later on after you create some followers or audience to the landing page. Or your blog should be getting more traffic.
