Ripe Mango sweet with Almonds is made using a few Ripe mangoes 🥭, Almond flour, powdered sugar, cornstarch, milk, cardamom powder, and some clarified butter. Garnished with some ground pistachios and whole almonds. Very easy to prepare. A soft and tasty treat for any special occasion or as an at-home, after-meal dessert. Ingredients required to prepare Ripe Mango sweets with Almond are ~

  • 1 and half cups of mango pulp paste
  • 1/4 cup + 4 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • 4 teaspoons of Cornstarch mixed in 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup Almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of clarified butter
  • Pistachios ground form to roll the sweets
  • Few whole almonds required for decorating the sweets

Total cook time 40 to 45 minutes

Short Summary for Ripe Mango Sweet recipe ~

Take 5 to 6 ripe mangoes, peel the skin and take out the pulp and grind to form a paste out of it. Pour 1 and a 1/2 cup of manI have also cooked it in a pressure cooker to save time but in earlier days, it was the slow cooking process that made the lamb extremely tender.go pulp paste into a pan and add 4 teaspoons of powdered sugar, turn on the heat and cook the mango pulp sometimes.

On the other side prepare a cornstarch slurry by mixing 4 teaspoons of cornstarch into 1/4 cup of water forming a Cornstarch slurry mixture. Once the mixture is hot and being cooked for a few minutes start to add the cornstarch slurry slowly into it and stir and continue to cook with no lumps in it. Slowly a nice cooked mango aroma starts to come and the mixture starts getting thicker. Continue to cook in low flame by continuous stirring until a jelly consistency reaches.

At this point add 1/2 a cup of almond flour, 1/4 cup of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder, and mix. Immediately add 2 tablespoons of milk gradually into it and continue to mix and cook well in low flame until the mixture reaches its setting consistency.

At the end add 1 teaspoon of clarified butter  I.e Ghee and mix. Cook a few more minutes in ghee. It turns shiny and more flavorful and glossy.

Transfer into another bowl and let it cool completely. Refrigerate sometimes to chill. Take it out from the refrigerator and shape them up like sweets. Roll in some ground pistachios and decorate with some whole Almonds in the center. Looks gorgeous and tastes delicious. Full mango flavored sweet is all set to enjoy:)

Take 5 to 6 ripe mangoes, peel the skin and take out the pulp and grind to form a paste out of it.

Prepare the mango paste

Pour the mango paste into a pan

Immediately add 4 teaspoons of powdered sugar, turn on the heat and cook the mango paste for some time. Cook until the mixture gets hot.

Preparing a Cornstarch Slurry ~

On the other side prepare a cornstarch slurry by mixing 4 teaspoons of cornstarch into 1/4 cup of water forming a slurry mixture and keep it aside for later use.

Cook the mango pulp few minutes

Adding the Cornstarch Slurry ~

Once the mixture is hot and is being cooked for few minutes, start adding the cornstarch slurry slowly into it and stir to mix. Continue to cook with no lumps in it.

Keep adding and mixing gradually to avoid forming any lumps.

Mixed well…

Continue stirring and cooking

Slowly a nice cooked mango 🥭 aroma starts to come and the mixture gets thicker

A jelly consistency reaches.

Adding the Almond Flour and Sugar ~

At this point add Almond Flour 1/2 cup

Powdered Sugar 1/4 cup

Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon

Give it a quick mix

Add milk immediately 2 tablespoons slowly into it and mix

Add clarified butter and continue to stir and cook until the mixture reaches its setting consistency.

Towards the end of the recipe make sure the flame is at the lowest to avoid getting it burnt

As you see in the image below the consistency is perfect for setting and forming shapes once it gets cold, turn off the flame.

Transfer into a bowl 🥣 and let it cool completely. Refrigerate sometime to set as well.

Take it out shape up like sweets.

It feels a little sticky while you shape them up, but it should be fine once you roll the sweets in some ground pistachios.

Roll these in some ground pistachios all over as a coating.

Prepare all together and decorate as you like with any of your favorite dry nuts

I am decorating these with 1 whole Almond in the center as the name of the sweet complements best with the decoration and looks gorgeous and tastes delicious.
