Fresh cream homemade Mango ice cream recipe. Excited to share this delicious recipe. This is so creamy in texture and simply melts in the mouth. The first thing that you need to do is to choose the right mangoes. Preferably choose the ripe and sweet mangoes. Just follow few steps carefully and you would not be disappointed, I’m sure. Great summer treat for kids and adults both.

Ingredients needed to make homemade mango ice cream are as follows:

Fresh whipping cream 1 and 1/2 cup

Mango pulp 1 and 1/4 cup ( sweet and ripe mangoes )

Sugar 1/4 cup

Condensed milk 1 and 1/2 cup

Chopped Mangoes around 1/4 cup

Steps to follow while you prepare mango ice cream:

Whipping the cream:-

The first step you need to do is to whip the fresh cream. I have used fresh whipping cream ( bought from the store). You may also use home cream if you have. You just need to know how to whip it perfectly, for the best result.

Well, I whipped the fresh store-bought whipping cream because it’s a little easier and quicker to whip and I simply did it using a hand beater without using any machine. You need to whip it until stiff peaks and it will not fall even if you turn the bowl upside down. That’s when you know that it’s just right.

Once you start whipping the cream after about a minute add 1/4 cup of sugar into it and continue to whip until stiff peaks.

Once you are done whipping it refrigerate until use. This is important to keep the texture perfect. The air that we created in the cream by whipping should remain the same when used. So refrigeration is important before use.

Prepare the mangoes:

Clean and cut the mangoes, and take out the sweet pulp. Transfer into a blender or grinder and make a paste out of it. While you make the mango paste do not add any water into it.

Into a large container pour the mango paste. Into it add 1/2 cup of condensed milk and mix. Then add whipping cream gradually and keep mixing. Use light hands while you mix these. Add some chopped mango pieces:

Into the mixture add some chopped mangoes and mix with light hands. Use a stick or fork to mix lightly.

Freezing:

Once done mixing put it in the freezer for 5 to 6 hours or until sets completely or keep it overnight.

Serving tips:

Take it out from the freezer and leave for a few minutes for easy scooping. Finally, Scoop it out enjoy, and serve.

Servings: This recipe Serves 6 approximately

Time to prepare: 1 hour

Freezing time: 5 to 6 hours or overnight.
