Ingredients required to prepare Instant Cabbage Soup are ~
- Olive oil 2 tablespoons
- Garlic cloves 5 to 6 finely chopped
- Chopped cabbage 1 cup
- Cabbage cut into big pieces some
- Vegetable broth 3 and 1/2 cups
- Tomato paste 1/3 cup (I have used the canned ones)
- Salt to taste
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder as required
- Spring onions chopped 2 tablespoons
Short Summary to prepare Instant Cabbage Soup ~
Into a frying pan heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and saute some chopped garlic cloves. Once the garlic turned slightly browned add chopped cabbage and saute along with the garlic for about a minute. After a minute of sauteing this small chopped cabbage add some big pieces of cabbage and saute for some time again. Then immediately add tomato paste around 1/3 cup along with the vegetable broth. Make sure to add sufficient broth so that the cabbages could be dipped well and cooked nicely. I have used some canned tomato paste and it’s a rich and thick consistency. You may add home-cooked tomato paste that would work fine too.
Stir and continue to cook for some time. In between the cooking sprinkle some salt as per taste and some black pepper powder and spring onions. Stir-to mix and continue to cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
