Short Summary to prepare Garlic bread

Preparing dough for the garlic bread

Into a bowl mix all the dry ingredients like flour, salt, sugar, instant dry yeast, and garlic powder. Next, add some melted butter gradually into it and mix until you see the flour crumbles. Into it then slowly start adding warm water and mix to prepare a soft dough. Once a sticky dough forms, add olive oil gradually into it along with some dry flour if required and mix to adjust the consistency. Gently knead the dough until you feel the texture is smooth and soft to touch and no more sticky. Grease the bowl well and place the dough. Apply some olive oil on top of it as well. Cover with a food wrap and let the dough rise. Give it sufficient time to rise. I usually prefer leaving it a minimum of two hours for proofing.

Once you see the dough has risen. Press and release the air and gently knead. Leve, it covered for second time proofing. This time it should take less time to rise. Well, in the same way after an hour or so uncover the dough, press to release air, and gently knead.

Rolling and shaping the dough

Transfer the dough to a flat surface. Roll to prepare a log, Cut and divide the log into 6 equal portions. Then further divide each portion into 2 halves. Total this dough prepares 12 portions for medium-sized garlic bread. Bring together two small logs of equal sizes and shape them. To prepare twisted garlic bread, Join one side of each log together and stick to attach, then by folding and twisting two logs together, in an overlapping manner, as shown in the images below, shape them as twisted garlic bread.

Once done preparing all. Line these up on a baking tray on top of parchment paper. Lightly cover and let these rest for 15 minutes before you bake these.

Preparing garlic butter

By the time the dough is resting preheat the oven and prepare some garlic butter for these. Melt some butter in a microwave and add some grated or minced garlic and give it a mix.

Baking

Once rested for 15 to 20 minutes, just before baking drizzle some garlic butter nicely on top of these. Sprinkle some Parsley for a nicer look. Brush up some more garlic butter as a second quoting so that the parsley sticks well to the bread.

Immediately bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 to 35 minutes or until you see it’s done.

Step-By-Step Method to prepare Garlic bread without eggs

To start with the recipe first we need to prepare the dough for the bread. For that, I am using all-purpose flour and instant active yeast which gives quicker results in fermenting the dough.

Preparing the dough ~

Into the flour, add some salt, some sugar, instant dry active yeast, and garlic powder, which gives the bread a strong garlic flavor. Mix all the dry ingredients well.

Melt some unsalted butter and keep it ready to use.

Add melted butter gradually into the flour and start to mix.

Once you mixed the butter well start pouring some warm water and mix to prepare a soft dough. Add water as required.

As you see it forms a soft dough but it seems to be very sticky. At this point add some olive oil and mix.

It looks still sticky to me so I adjusted the consistency by sprinkling some dry flour and mixing it well.

Next, added again some olive oil and mixed well.

Once I started feeling the dough is extremely smooth in texture and not sticky anymore.

Pour some olive oil into the bowl and drop the dough on top of it. Drizzle some oil on the top as well and let cover it with the food wrap.

Let the dough rest for about 2 hours. #First proofing

You will see the dough has risen. Just doubles in size. At this point. Press the dough to release the air and knead lightly.

Just after the quick knead. Cover and let it rest until it rises in volume again #Secondtime proofing

Next, Uncover and press to release the air.

Dividing and shaping up the dough

Sprinkle some dry flour on a flat surface. Roll out the dough in a log shape.

Divide the dough into six equal portions

Further dividing each portion into 2 halves.

Roll out two equal portions into a log shape then join at one corner and then twist and turn to shape up your garlic bread.

Line these up on a baking sheet on top of a baking tray. Cover with the food wrap lightly and let it rest for 15 more minutes before you bake. #Thirdtime Proofing

Preparing garlic butter

By the time our bread is resting, melt some butter in a microwave and add minced or grated garlic and keep aside.

Brush these up nicely with the garlic butter that we prepared. Then sprinkle some parsley for a nicer look.

Again brush up with some more garlic butter which helps Parsely to stick nicely on the dough.

Bake

Bake In a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 to 35 minutes and it should be good to go.

Let, ‘s check inside. Looks perfect and nice. Soft and fluffy inside.

Enjoy with mayonnaise, ranch, olive oil, or any sauces of choice.
