This is an easy oatmeal recipe idea for breakfast. Dairy-free and a full bowl of Nutrition. To prepare this we need organic old-fashioned oats and almond milk with some fruits of choice. It’s quick and easy to prepare.

Easy Oatmeal recipe for breakfast

The term oatmeal refers to the preparation of oats. Oats could be de-husked, steamed, and flattened, or could be in form of course flour, milled-or steel-cut.

Ingredients required to prepare Oatmeal

  • Water 1 cup
  • Oats 1/2 cup
  • Almond Milk 1 cup
  • Strawberries as required
  • Banana slices as required
  • Almond flakes
  • Strawberry syrup as required or use any sweetener of choice.

7-10 minutes

Heat some water into a sauce pan, once the water is warm add oats and continue to cook for about 2 minutes, then pour Almond milk and stir. Continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes more until the mixture turns thick and creamy. At this point the oasts looks smushy and delicious.

Transfer the mixture into aserving bowl and top it with starwberries and bananas or any fruit or combination of fruits that would like to try. Drizzle some honey or starwberry sauce, or use any sugar free sweeter as per your requirement and enjoy warm during breakfast.

Step-by-Step Directions to prepare Oatmeal

Heat water into a saucepan. Once the water gets warm add oats into it and stir.

Let the oats start to boil and simmer pour Almond milk into it and continue to cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until you achieve the required consistency of the oatmeal.

You will see the oats turn out softer and the mixture turns out thick and creamy.

As soon as it turns out to be a kheer consistency turn off the flame.

Transfer into a serving bowl and top it with some sliced bananas, strawberries, and sliced almonds. These sliced almonds turn adds up crunch into the oatmeal that I love personally. You may choose any of your favorite fruits into your oatmeal bowl as per choice.

Drizzle some honey or any syrup or even you may add some jaggery, grated chocolates, or even any sugar-free sweetener to it as per your taste and requirement. Well, in this preparation since I have used more of the strawberries as a fruit topping I have added some strawberry syrup to it to enhance the flavor and to sweeten up my oatmeal bowl for breakfast.

Try this oatmeal bowl as your morning healthy breakfast or as a brunch meal. It’s creamy, rich, and delicious.

Important notes ~

If you want your oats to be more liquidy then add 1/4 cup of more almond milk into it and mix.

You can easily store oatmeal into the refrigerator overnight (with no toppings) and use the other day by heating it up into a microvawe or gas stove.
