Ingredients required to prepare Chocolate Banana Bread

  • Ripe/overripe bananas 🍌 3
  • Large eggs 2
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • All-purpose flour 1 and 1/2 cups
  • Cocoa powder 1/3 cup
  • Salt 1/4 teaspoon
  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  • Melted butter or ghee 1/3 cup
  • Some softened butter to grease the pan

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour and 15 minutes

Directions to Prepare Banana Bread

Use 3 ripe bananas and mash them up using a fork. Crack two large eggs and mix. Add a pinch of salt, and brown sugar and give it a mix and keep aside. Into another bowl take all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder and mix. Then combine the bananas mixture and the Flour mixture together. Then finally add melted butter or Ghee at the end and give it a nice mix. The mixture is now ready to be baked. Grease the baking pan with some butter to avoid sticking and pour the batter into it. Place it inside a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake it for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Preparing the bananas

Use 3 ripe bananas

Mash the bananas using a fork

As you see the bananas are now completely mashed its ready to be used

Use 2 large eggs and mix with the mashed bananas

Add a pinch or 1/4 teaspoon of salt

1/2 a cup of brown sugar and mix and keep aside

Preparing the dry ingredients

Into a separate bowl take 1 and 1/2 cup of All-purpose flour and add 1 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda

1/3 cup of cocoa powder

Give it a mix

Pour the banana mixture gradually into it and mix to form a batter

Brush up the baking pan nicely with softened butter or oil

Preheat the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and then bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.

Take it out and allow to cool sometime. Leave the baking pan open without covering it

Once slightly cooled turn upside down and tap to take it out

Cut into slices
