Baking:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place these almond butter cookies inside the pre-heated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or unless light cracks appear on top of the cookies.

Once done baking, Immediately take them out and place them on a cooling rack. Note: Initially the cookies would be too hot and soft to touch, so make sure to cool them a little bit before transferring to a cooling rack or a dish.

Tips for baking good cookies

1. Softening the fat:

Softened butter helps the flour and sugar mix well and becomes light and fluffy when mixed which helps to bake good cookies. The butter is considered to be the best when at room temperature.

2. Eggs must be at room temperature:

Bring the eggs to room temperature before mixing up with the flour.

3. Measurements:

Measure your ingredients precisely for great cookies

4. Use a baking sheet or parchment paper:

Try using parchment paper for baking cookies.

5. Don’t over-mix the dough

When adding in dry ingredients, be sure to mix until just combined. Overmixing can toughen your cookie dough.

6. Mixing the eggs:

Add Eggs One at a Time for proper mixing into the mixture.

7. Adding dry ingredients:

Add Flour or Dry Ingredients in Batches

8. Egg size:

Make sure to check the sizes of the eggs needed to be used because of the size the results may vary.

9. Dough refrigeration:

If you are in no hurry keep the cookie dough in the refrigerator for a few hours before baking.

10. Salt used in the cookies:

Using salt in your cookies is good to balance the taste, especially in chocolate chip cookies.

11. Cream your cookie mixture:

Cream your cookie mixture correctly like the sugar and butter mixture should be mixed until smooth and frothy, or unless the sugar dissolves completely into the butter.

12. Oven setting:

Preheat or prepare the oven before placing the cookies. Make sure the oven temperature is set right and should be in baking mode.

13. Space between the cookies:

Place the cookies at proper distances. Leave some space in between each cookie, to avoid overcrowding, because once these are baked they are going to spread a little bit.

14. Cooling out the cookies:

Have cookies finished baking? Let ’em cool for 1-2 minutes on their baking sheets before transferring to a rack. They’ll continue to bake and firm up on the hot pan. Be sure cookies are completely cool before you decorate or store them.
