Tandoori Chicken quick and easy to make. This is an Indian subcontinental dish very popular all over India and now abroad as well. This is made with chicken with bones marinated in yogurt and few aromatic spices and mainly grilled in a normal oven or charcoal grill. Nowadays these could also be cooked on a frying pan as well. In addition, to give this recipe a charcoal smell and effect a piece of charcoal is put into the fire and placed in a bowl covered to form fumes inside the bowl with the cooked tandooris around. This way these turn out even more delicious without using charcoal grilling. Well in this recipe Iām going to show you the easiest and quickest way of preparing tandooris at home with using fewer ingredients. It tastes delicious and kids friendly as well.
Ingredients needed to make Tandoori Chicken are as follows:
Chicken- 1/2 kg 6 to 7 pices with bones
Greek Yogurt- 3 tablespoons
Oil- (Olive oil or any regular oil) 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice-1 tablespoon
Spices~
Cumin powder- 1 teaspoon
Corriander powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Salt- 2 teaspoon or as per taste
Turmuric powder- 1 teaspoon
Black pepper corn powder- 2 teaspoon
Green chilli flakes- 2 teaspoon
Paprika-2 teaspoons
Garam masala powder 2 teaspoon
Corriander leaves dry or fresh- some
Proceedure to make Tandoori Chicken quick and easy:
Using washed and patted dried chicken pices with bones. In to it then add 1 tablespoon of olive or regular oil, Greek yogurt 3 tablespoons cumin powder 1 teaspoon, Corriander powder 1/2 a teaspoon, salt 2 teaspoons or as per taste, Turmuric powder 1 teaspoon, Black pepper corn powder 2 teaspoons, Green chilli flakes or fresh chopped chilies some or as per taste, Paprika 2 teaspoons, garam masala powder 2 teaspoons, corriander leaves fresh or dry add some. Sqeeze some lemon juice around 1 tablespoon. Mix all the ingredients well. Cover and keep it marinated for 20 minutes to 1 hour.
Bake~
Pre-heat the oven and bake at 350 degrees farenheight for 35 minutes or until you see the colour of tandooris has changed to dark brown and the chicken looks tender and cooked.
Serving tips~
Serve chicken tandooris hot with raw onions and lemon along with some siders like sallad and fried rice or bread and some cury. This recipe is so simple and easy to make and yet so delicious.

Marination time depends 20 minutes to 1 hour
Bake time: Approx 35 minutes
