Summary of the Potato Pancakes with Cheese recipe
Wash and clean 4 medium-sized potatoes 🥔 and peel the skin of these. Cut them into slices and steam 30-35 minutes or until the potatoes softens. Mash these using folk as these are too hot to touch initially 🙂 Sprinkle some salt 🧂, red chili powder 1 teaspoon, sugar 1 teaspoon, coriander leaves 🍃 3 tablespoons, and Almond flour 1/3 cup. Mix and mash these until a soft and smooth mixture is ready. Grab out some portions and shape them as smooth and softballs. Make some space in the center of each potato ball and fill in some mozzarella cheese as required. Close the openings of the potato balls. Slightly press to flatten these to shape them up like pancakes. Prepare all together. Heat some oil into the pan and shallow fry them until turns golden brown in color. Fry both sides equally by flipping and turning them up gently as they are too soft initially. Later they tighten up a little bit and are easy to move:) Hope this helps.

- 4 medium-sized potatoes 🥔
- Mozzarella cheese 1 cup or as required
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon or as required
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Red chili 🌶 powder 1 teaspoon or as required
- Coriander leaves 3 tablespoons
- Almond flour 1/3 cup
- Oil to shallow fry these
Step by Step Method to Prepare Potato Pancakes with Cheese
Wash and peel the skin of the potatoes.
Cut into slices
Steam for about 30 to 35 minutes or until they gets soft.
Mash the potatoes using a fork as these are very hot initially to touch:)
Sprinkle some salt, Red chili powder, Sugar coriander leaves, Mix and mash using hands.
Add 1/3 cup of Almond flour into it and mix nicely.
Smooth and soft mixture is prepared. Grab a portion of the mixture and prepare balls out of these
Make some space in the center and fill the space with Mozzarella Cheese
Close the opening and smoothen up the ball.
Press gently to shape them up as pancakes.
Shallow fry these in some oil until turns golden brown and nice in color.
Points to remember.
- You may use any other flour in place of almond flour.
- Make sure to mix and mash the ingredients nice and smooth
- The oil should be medium hot once you start dropping up the pancakes.
