The joy of sharing the pure form of Orange Ice Cream is so much fun and exciting. I still remember the flavor I use to eat in my home town in India and I often used to miss that flavor and now I some how made it. So here goes the recipe.
Ingredients for Orange Ice Cream:
- 5 oranges ( sweet, seedless, and juicy)
- Orange concentrate 1/4th cup
- Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
Steps to follow:
- Peel the oranges and wash them properly
- Put them into a grinder and make it a paste out of it
- Then squeeze and strain all the juice out of it using a strainer
- Now take the squeeze juice and add 1/4th cup of concentrated orange juice and mix it very well.
- Finally, add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar. And mix well, until the sugar dissolves completely into the juice.
Freezing:
Once the juice is ready, transfer it into the ice cream molds. You can choose plastic or steel mold. I have used steel mold here.
Put the mold into the freezer and freeze at least for 8 to 10 hours.
Once its completely frozen, get it out of the freezer and serve.
