Doughnut Puffs. Slightly crisp outside. Soft and fluffy inside.
Doughnut puffs here means that the dough batter that I prepared is for the puffs. “Doughnut Puffs” The soft and thick consistency dough makes super soft doughnut puffs. These are super easy to prepare and very soft and fluffy inside. When deep-fried in oil these puff up and turns light brown in color which makes them slightly crisp on the top. Finally coating them in sugar and cinnamon mixture makes these amazingly delicious 😋 Do enjoy this recipe when you feel like having some good sweet with light sugar. It is healthy and could also be served in the morning breakfast with a glass full of warm milk to the kids/toddlers/Adults. Kids are going to love these I am sure. You may also drizzle some extra syrup to add a little more sweetness. Moreover, enjoy these when warm because that’s when these are so amazingly soft and tastes so delicious.

Ingredients for preparing Doughnut puffs
- All-purpose flour 1 cup
- Large eggs 2
- Vanilla essence 2 teaspoons
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- Milk 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon (Lukewarm)
- Oil to deep fry
For coating
- Icing sugar 2 tablespoons (or as required)
- Ground Cinnamon 2 tablespoons (or as required)
Directions to prepare
Into a bowl take 1 cup of All-Purpose Flour and add 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Mix these 2 dry ingredients. Into it then add 2 large size eggs (whole), 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence, 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon of milk (lukewarm milk), and mix to prepare a smooth and thick flow batter.
For Coating these we need 2 tablespoons of icing sugar and 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon and mix. Adjust the amount as per your taste and flavor. Roll the hot doughnut puffs into it and enjoy. You may also drizzle up some vanilla icing on top of it to add some extra sweetness.

Into a bowl take 1 cup of All-Purpose Flour
Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
Mix these 2 dry ingredients.
Into it then add 2 large size eggs (whole)
Mix these nicely
Add 1/4 cup of milk (lukewarm milk)
Mix to prepare a smooth and thick flow batter.
Add 1 more tablespoon of milk to get a softer consistency batter.
2 teaspoons of vanilla essence,
Mix and make a smooth and thick batter.
Frying:
Warm up the oil but do not heat too much to avoid burning of the puffs
Drop the doughnut batter slowly into the warm oil with the help of a spoon.
Fry them for a few seconds by slightly stirring them until light golden brown in color.
As you see these puffs up after frying. Make sure to quickly take them out as soon as they puff up and transfer them into a separate bowl.
Coating with Sugar and Cinnamon
Into a large bowl or a container take two tablespoons of sugar
Two tablespoons of Cinnamon.
Mix…
Pour these Puffs into the sugar and cinnamon mixture and coat
Shake and toss them well to coat.
Serve and enjoy warm with a glass full of milk.
These are lightly crisp on the top and soft and fluffy inside.
