Banana bread
The Banana bread recipe is so easy and tastes delicious. This is one of my favorite recipes. The soft and delicious banana bread tastes so good and healthy too. Top it with any of your favorite cream combinations. Icing with some glossy sugar would work too. Simply enjoy this during breakfast or for snacking. Just one ☝️ very ripened banana used to prepare this banana bread recipe. I somehow came to know that I can use these black ripened bananas instead of throwing them out!! I never thought these could be used this way and it will taste so good. Surely the eggs add up the texture. But still, it’s worth trying the recipe. You may even use a fresh banana for this recipe just make sure to nicely mash it up or simply put it in a blender and make a paste out of it. Then mixing it up with milk and eggs gives it a beautiful texture.
Ingredients required to prepare Banana bread
- 1 ripe banana
- 3 egg whites ( large size eggs used )
- 3 egg yolks ( large size eggs used )
- Milk 1/2 cup
- Vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
- Sugar 1/4 cup
- All-purpose flour 1 cup + 3 tablespoons
Importance of the Ingredients required for preparing Banana Bread
- Eggs for the fluffiest dense texture
- Baking powder to help baking and forming the texture
- Sugar for adding the sweetness
- Ripe banana for the purpose of flavoring and helps forming the texture as well
- Milk to add sufficient liquid to help it bake and cook well
- All-purpose flour off course the necessary ingredient
- Lemon juice provides an acidic reaction to curdle up the milk thus forming a texture of the bread
- Vanilla essence for adding flavor

Directions to prepare Banana Bread
Mash the ripened banana nicely with the help of a spoon or a folk. Or you may simply put it into a blender to make a paste out of it. Keep this aside until we prepare other things.
Into a bowl separate 3 large egg whites from the yolks. Using a hand blender beat the eggs until stiff peaks. While beating the eggs in between add 1/4 cup of sugar gradually and beat. As soon as you reach the stiff peak point stop beating the egg whites and the sugar. Keep this aside for later use.
Pour 1/2 a cup of milk into a separate bowl. Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and give it a mix. Add the egg yolks and mix nicely.
Then add 1 cup + 3 tablespoons of All-purpose flour gradually and mix. Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and give it a mix until makes a lump-free smooth batter.
Finally, add the beaten egg whites into portions and mix lightly. Mix and fold the batter carefully in order to prevent the airy bubbles that we created by beating the egg whites. This provides the fluffiest and softest texture to the bread.
Once done ✔️ place a parchment paper onto a baking container and brush it up with some oil or butter. Now pour the batter into it. Tap lightly to release any air bubbles trapped inside. Now it’s all set to go inside the oven.
Baking of the banana bread
Preheat the oven to 235 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake it for 30 to 35 minutes. Or until you see it lightly turned brown on the top. To check insert a toothpick inside right at the center. If it comes out clean it is completely baked inside and is done ✅
Allow it to cool. Preferably cool it on the cooling rack for best results. Or you may simply transfer on to a plate and let them cool. Once cold cut them into desired pieces and enjoy.

Use of a ripe Banana
Use a ripe banana dressing make a paste out of it. Mash it with the help of a spoon or a fork depending on the softness of it. Or simply use a blender to form a paste.
Break 3 large eggs. Separate the egg whites from the yolk.
Keep the egg yolks and the whites separately.
Beat the egg whites using an electric hand beater until stiff peaks.
While you beat the egg whites add the sugar slowly and beat.
Into a bowl add milk, vanilla essence, lemon juice, and the egg yolks and mix.
Gradually add all-purpose flour and baking powder and mix to form a smooth lump-free batter.
Add the banana paste into the mixture and mix.
Start to add the beaten egg whites into it in portions and mix lightly using a spoon or a spatula to retain the airy bubble texture that we created by beating them with the hand machine.
Baking and Cooling
Place a parchment paper into a baking container. Brush the parchment paper with some oil or butter.
Pour the batter onto the baking container and tap to set. This also helps remove any air bubbles trapped inside the batter.
Oven settings:
Preheat the oven at 235 degrees Fahrenheit before putting it to bake.
Bake:
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until turns golden brown on the top.
To check if it’s baked or not? Insert a stick inside, if it comes out clean means it is completely baked inside and is done.
Cooling:
Once done ☑️ baking, allow it cool sometimes preferably on the cooling rack if you have one. Or just transfer it from the baking container to the normal plate. Later cut them into pieces and enjoy.
