The soft and spongy almond cake tastes delicious. Make this during any special occasion and delight your loved ones by serving this Light sweet spongy almond cake.

This is made with condensed milk and heavy cream with the extra flavor of pure Almond essence which makes it different than other cakes.

Ingredients used

1 cup flour

1/3rd cup of condensed milk

1/2 cup of heavy cream

2 tbsp of icing sugar

1/4 cup of lukewarm water

1/4 tsp of baking soda

1/4 tsp of baking powder

2 tbsp of oil

1/4 tsp of almond essence

Procedure to make

Into a bowl take 2 tbsp of oil, 1/4 tsp of Almond essence, 1/3th cup of condensed milk, 2 tbsp of icing sugar, 1/4th tsp of baking soda, 1/4th tsp of baking powder and mix nicely. When all mixed well add 1 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of heavy cream into it and mix again. Add 1/4th cup of warm water and mix nicely. The cake batter is almost ready to be baked. Finally, beat it really nice once again and pour the batter into a small baking pan by placing a baking sheet below to avoid sticking.

Tap the pan 3 to 4 times to avoid any air bubbles and garnish the top of the batter preferably with Sliced Almond flakes because these once baked give a crispier and crunchier texture with every single bite of the cake. With the help of a flat spatula or a spoon press the top of the almond flakes a little to make them sit inside the batter otherwise when baked they might give a feeling of burnt almonds and gets stiffer and harder.

Bake Instructions:

Put it into the preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 45 to 49 minutes.

Take it out of the oven and let it cool and then cut into pieces and enjoy during tea time or coffee time. Light sweet spongy cakes taste awesome.
