Tilapia recipe. Baked and healthy tilapia fillet recipe.

Gently wash tilapia fillets under running water, then pat dry these using a kitchen towel or a tissue to soak any extra water from the fillets. Next, into an oven-safe container mix in some spices along with some thick yogurt. Into a bowl take thick yogurt, into it then add ginger and garlic paste, green chili chopped, red chili powder, cumin seeds, cumin powder, Coriander powder, garam masala powder, black peppercorns crushed, some salt, turmeric powder, sugar, all-purpose flour, squeeze one lime juice and give these a nice mix.
Into the marination add the fillets slowly. Dip these well into the saucy marination by turning both sides equally, Line them up, and keep these dipped into the marination. Then use a fork and make pores all around the fillets. Drizzle or spray oil all over the fillets. Turn the fillets to the other side repeating the process. Marinate and Keep these refrigerated for 1 hour or more for better results.
Bake in a preheated oven for about 35 to 45 minutes or until done. The top of the fish has browned and looks tempting.

  • 1/2 cup Yogurt (thick consistency)
  • 1 Green chili (finely chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons Red chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoons Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds powder
  • 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoons Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper corns freshly crushed
  • Salt as required
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 medium Lime-juice squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander leaves chopped
  • Some oil to spray or drizzle
