Wash, cut, and slice the pumpkin into thin slices, and steam until soft and fork-tender. Mash these completely using a fork. Transfer one cup of mashed pumpkin into a mixing bowl. Add boiled and grated potatoes 1/2 cup and 1/2 a cup of All-purpose flour into it. Sprinkle a little bit of salt and pepper as per taste and mix these nicely. Heat some oil or butter into a frying pan and pour some amount, spread, and shape in the form of pancakes. Shallow fry these few minutes on each side until slightly golden brown in color. Enjoy these with any of your favorite sauces or chutney of choice.
