- 10-12 pieces Malai paneer or regular paneer
- 1/3 cup Mustard oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Fennel seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 4 Cloves
- 2 Black cardamom
- 4 Green cardamom
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns
- 3 small Bay leaves
- 2 large Onions
- 1/2 teaspoon Asafedita (Hing)
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Dry-red chili ground
- Salt as required
- 2 teaspoons Garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon Gram masala powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons Corriander powder
- 2 medium Tomatoes chopped
- 1/4 cup Whisked yogurt
- 1 cup Water
For Tadka ~
- 1 teaspoon Ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Coriander seeds crushed
- 2 Dry-red chili
- 2 Green chili
- Some onions cut into cubes for tadka
- Some Coriander leaves chopped to garnish
