Cabbage stir-fried with shrimp and potato platter

Wash the cabbage thoroughly under running water. Shread thin and chop further. We need 4 full cups of chopped cabbage for this recipe. Clean and wash 30 to 35 large shrimps nicely and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Cut and chop them into smaller pieces. Into a skillet or wok heat up 1/4 cup of oil. Add cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon, bay leaves 2, Green cardamom 2 into it and saute. Then add 1 large thinly sliced onions, dry-red chili powder 1 teaspoon and stir-fry until translucent. Next, add ginger paste 1 teaspoon, garlic paste 1 teaspoon, Cumin powder 1 teaspoon, coriander powder 1 teaspoon. Add garam masala 1 teaspoon and mix. Add chopped shrimps into it and mix. Frequently stir and cook the shrimps few minutes. While these are being cooked they releases water. As soon as the water is reduced add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder into it and mix. Continue to to cook few minutes or until the shrimps are atleast 1/2 way cooked. Then add chopped cabbage 4 cups into it and mix. Continue to stir and cook until the cabbage are translucent. Add 1 cup diced potatoes 90 percent cooked, Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala powder, 1/2 teaspoon of chaat masala powder, and some more salt as required and mix. Continue to stir-fry auntil the potaoes are cooked well and mixture looks perfect. Serve these with steamed rice or bread of choice or enjoy as as a starter recipe.
