Into a frying pan warm up some ghee, into it then add condensed milk and stir immediately. Then add desiccated coconut and give it a quick stir. Continuously stir and cook by keeping the flame at low. Add more condensed milk if the mixture looks dry. Sprinkle some cardamom powder and mix. The consistency of the mixture should be easy to bind together in order to be shaped as modak sweets. To garnish these sprinkle some ground pistachios on the top and some place thin-sliced almonds in the center.
