Short Summary of the recipe The first step is to saute the ground turkey in some olive oil. Once the turkey meat turns white from pink and starts releasing water continuously stir in between and let these cook. In between cooking sprinkle some salt and mix. Gradually the water evaporates and the turkey meats look cooked well and start releasing a nice aroma. At this point turn off the flame and keep this aside for later use.Next, heat some oil into a pan and saute 1 large onion chopped until turns translucent and not raw anymore. Then add 1 green chili chopped and ginger and garlic paste. Saute these sometime. Next, add the spices like red chili powder, some coriander powder, and cumin powder, mix and quickly saute these.Adding some chili sauce adds a little spicy flavor to it. Next, add the canned slow-cooked baked beans and mix. I bought these canned beans from a general store. If you don’t have this in your pantry then simply slow cook some beans at home and add mix with the cooked ground turkey. Once the beans are mixed well add cooked ground turkey along with some water into it to adjust the consistency according to your requirement.Sprinkle some salt as required, mix well and let these cook and simmer on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until done. After being slowly cooked for a while, I see the gravy is getting thicker slowly and the meat and the beans are nicely cooked and look tempting. I simply turn off the flame. And this is now ready to be enjoyed with rice or bread or any siders that you like.
