OMELETE. Light and fluffy omelet with herbs and spices. Easy and healthy recipe.

Crack 4 large size eggs into a bowl. Add 1 green chili chopped. Add a pinch of black salt and some regular salt into it as per taste. Beat the mixture using an electric hand beater few minutes or until the egg yolk and the whites are mixed well together. Into it then add the chopped onions, some mixed herbs, and some Italian or any other mixed blends and mix well together. The Omelet mixture is now ready to be shallow fried. Heat a frying pan and add some oil and pour the omelet mixture into it and cover and cook in low to medium flame few minutes. After some time uncover and turn to the other side. Cover and cook until done. The top turns nice and golden brown in color and the omelet fluffs up and looks well cooked and is nicer now :) Serve and enjoy hot.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Eggs (large size)
  • 1 Green chili
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black salt
  • Regular salt as required
  • 1/2 cup Onions chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mixed herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon (Herbs blends (Italian or any)
  • 1 tablespoon or as required Oil

Notes

Beat the egg whites and the yolks together using an electric hand beater few minutes for best results.
You may choose any fresh herbs for this recipe eg coriander leaves, Mint leaves, or parsley
Cook in low to the medium flame by covering it for few minutes on both sides for best results.
